A group exhibition "Reading Room", which presented, among others, works by Alexander Dashevskiy and Rostan Tavasiev, has opened in the Leningrad Center.

Alexander Dashevsky presented two artist’s books, embodied on wood. The text of one of them, consisting of two double pages, is the following: "When you go out of the restaurant, to its balcony, there is summer and lights out there. And suddenly you remember all those biennales, art prizes, and you start feeling so disgusting. After that you will be lying all day like a fool. "

Rostan Tavasiev’s object is a book from the project "On the bottom 3D» with half-burnt pages and characteristic for Tavasiev’s art orange plush toy’s fragment. The exhibition

"Reading Room" is a part of a larger project "Reading Room "No Strangers Here"" - a public space for reading, creativity, art, discussions, lectures, workshops and presentations in Leningrad Center.

The exhibition is open until May 10, 2015.
