Anna Nova Gallery is pleased to present, A Trace Left by the Future, the first solo exhibition in Russia of the American artist Jonathan Monaghan. Featuring new sculpture, video, print and installation work, Monaghan invites us into a candy-colored, yet unsettling world uncovering fears and anxieties about an increasingly technological future. Drawing on a range of imagery, from baroque architecture to consumer electronics, Monaghan's cryptic works draw attention to the ever blurring lines between the natural and artificial.

Anna Nova has been collaborating with the artist since 2014. The project “A Few Words About Civility” that was organized by the gallery as part of the Manifesta 10 program was nominated for the Kandinsky Prize in 2015.

The exposition appears to be an ironical biopic about Alexander’s artistic practice. New project “A Pack of Malingerers” follows the previous series ”Partial Losses” (2013) “The Fallen and the Dropped Out” (2016) and becomes the third episode of the thrilling story about painting genre mutations emerged during the artists’s working process.

Anna Nova presents the first solo exhibition of Nestor Engelke, a member of the «North 7».
The artist's alter-ego will be embodied in the image of Professor Woodman, the founder of the architectural bureau «Woodman & Partners». The first floor of the gallery will turn into the office of this imaginary bureau, and on the second floor the professor will present the main project of the company called«Paradise».
