Anna Nova Gallery is taking part in the 11th Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair from September 29 to October 1. The gallery's stand will feature works by leading St. Petersburg artists – Alexandra Gart, Piotr Diakov and Denis Patrakeev.
This year, the focus of the stand's exposition is not painting, but graphics and sculpture. Alexandra Gart's post-apocalyptic landscapes, first shown at the personal exhibition 'Spider's Web Fores' (2021): four–meter scrolls of rice paper, sheets of parchment and glitch panels with artit's famous visual motif - 'ripples'.
The bronze sculptures by Piotr Diakov, made in author’s technique using his own handprints, enter into a dialogue with Gart’s post-apocalyptic graphics. The artworks were exhibited at the artist's personal exhibition 'Reserved zone' (2023). Denis Patrakeev's works will also be shown at the fair. His long-awaited return is accompanied by new sculptures in which the artist strives for the poetry of material and form. One of the key works of the stand is an object from the series 'Soteria' (2019).
