I like to imagine myself as a research observer, who got into his own experiment, a biological art tool capable of materializing invisible psychophysical processes by transferring their 3D projections to the real life

Having started his art career among Moscow non-conformists, Kawarga developed his unique style in biomorphic sculptures and installations. Today, he deals with a wide range of polymers, which he uses as material for both large-scale landscape sculptures and miniature highly-detailed compositions.

Most of his works are based on the synthesis of art and technology, created in collaboration with scientists, programmers, and engineers. These interactive kinetic objects have been displayed at international exhibitions and festivals of contemporary high-tech art, including Lexus Hybrid Art (Russia), Ars Electronica (Austria), FILE Electronic Language International Festival (Brazil), Cybfest (Russia, USA), etc.

Winner of the Zverev Contemporary Art Awards (2021), winner of the Kuryokhin Awards (2016).
