In the exhibition "To Draw" the graphic styles of the exhibits — be it a political posteror intimate landscape drawing — are not opposed, but rather have an equal effecton the viewer. For the Northern Capital "To Draw" is an important event. In the city such exhibitions of this level and theme are rare. Anna Nova has prepared well and displayed a small but nevertheless complex international project and as curator has managed to collect interesting Polish artists, many of whom we see for the first time. She has also brought popular young Russian participants, giving them the opportunity to prove themselves in a new context. The curator compares the techniques of Polish and Russian artists, using the term "activist" for the artists. With the approach of grouping unlike work together the curator designs the exhibition, guided by two mainfeatures — the medium and the nationality of the artist.
