On November 12 the Center of Creative Industries 'Fabrika' has opened a solo exhibition by Andrey Kuzkin. The project refers to the artist's performance 'Basic Question' in 2013, when he used a medical scalpel to cut out the question 'WHAT IS THIS?' on his chest. After eight years, the artist has found the answer to the question: ‘VREMYANKA’.
The exhibition has two parts. The first one is interactive and created by the audience. Everyone can write text on A4 sheets: 'I am still alive. Name, Last Name, Date, Signature'. It is immediately framed and put on the wall. Therefore, becomes an exhibit.
The second part features photo and video documentation of Andrey Kuzkin’s actions in 2021 in countryside. These are the artist's personal poetic statements related to the intellectual and emotional opening of VREMYANKA.
