The Vadim Sidur Museum and the Moscow Museum of Modern Art with the support of Anna Nova Gallery present a solo exhibition by Mayana Nasybullova Everything Is Terrible*. In her project she explores the phenomenon of catastrophe as a recurrent process that destroys the global history of civilization.
Finding herself in dialogue with the legacy of Vadim Sidur, whose artistic practice in the 1960s included themes of the consequences of war, violence and human tragedy that he directly witnessed. Mayana scales these motifs, viewing them from the perspective of personal trauma in the context of modernity.
