This collaboration started with the corporate collection made by British Bakeries, which first features the works by Marya Dmitrieva and Anna Andrzhievskaya, artists from Anna Nova Gallery.
Vivid images drawn by Andrzhievskaya blaze with all kinds of fantastic characters and landscapes that can only appear in one’s dreams were used to decorate the new on-season eclairs series plus to design the dessert boxes and the coffee cups at British Bakeries. Each of the bakeries has different eclairs that feature fragments of artwork - Sphynx 1, Sphynx 2, Theater, and Nursery.
Especially for the collaboration, British Bakeries invented two tastes for their eclairs inspired by Anna’s artistic world. The first one is currant, pear, and violets, and the second is red orange, tangerine, and roses. The fundamental concept of the project was merging together the splendid impressions from both the visual and gastronomic art. This is an attempt to establish a transmedial space for sensuous experience.
