Befree Co:Create made a capsule collection of T-shirts and longsleeves based on the works by artist Alexandra Gart. The collaboration was inspired by the artist’s graphic prints - lino prints and monotypes with disturbing and dim images, featuring a deer in the headlights, metal wire mesh, streaks of paints, and bird silhouettes. The prints are complemented with handwritten phrases that look like records from one’s thoughts journal, or like quotes from some songs by s Gothic band.
“I don’t feel like showing my cards and explaining every meaning encrypted in my works. I hope some of you might recall where one or another phrase on your T-shirt comes from and feel happy about it,” Alexandra Gart said about the collaboration.
The capsule collection is already available at the web-site befree.ru and in retail stores.
