Tidings Exhibition was opened in the Benois Department of the Russian Museum. The event is dedicated to the problem of information communication, acquisition, and reliability when it comes to its artistic interpretation. About 300 pieces from museum and private collections are showcased at the exhibition, all of them from different times, starting with Old Russian art and ending with street and science art. The project offers a new take on the world of information — to see that it is a person who is always at the heart of any process operation.
The exhibition includes Floppy Disc by Mayana Nasybullova and Proteus by Denis Patrakeev from Anna Nova’s collection, as well as Haim Sokol’s work from Dead Letters series borrowed from the Tretyakov Gallery.
