Lecture by Yoel Regev in the Anna Nova Gallery

The exhibition of Egor Kraft & Aacute; KKTA raised a large number of questions relating to artificial intelligence and the impact of technology on our perception of the world. In order to understand the topic of the «machine revolution» we invited an expert – philosopher and lecturer of the European University, Yoel Regev. Specially for the Anna Nova gallery, Yoel Regev developed a mini-course of three lectures The Community of Automata: from cutting desire to cutting time.

On February 2, 2019, Yoel Regev will give a lecture. The concepts of Deleuze-Guattari and Landa are essentially theories of a "revolution interrupted in the middle": based on this result of the two previous lectures, we will ask ourselves whether this revolution can be continued and brought to the end. Based on the concept of "re-engineering" and the Artificial Intelligence developed by Reza Negarestani, we will put forward the thesis that the genuine "non-human" work, releasing the machine-functional core of a human, can only be done on re-cutting the temporal series based on the quaternary code.
