On the December 14 the winners of of the 10th annual Kandinsky Prize was announced. Artist of our gallery Andrey Kuzkin is the winner of the Project of the Year nomination. He won this award with his project Right to Life.
This year the winners of Kandinsky prize also is Viktor Miziano in the nomination Scholarly work. History and theory of contemporary art and Taus Makhacheva in the nomination Young Artist.
Along with the British Turner Prize and the French Marcel Duchamp Prize, Kandinsky Prize is considered to be one of the most important national awards in the contemporary art field.
