Artworks of three gallery artists - Haim Sokol, Nestor Engelke, Andrey Kuzkin - now on view at the exhibition “An Anthology of the Poor in Fine Art and Design. Dialogue between Russia and Italy” in the Heritage gallery.
The exhibition presents selected works of representatives of the Russian Poor movement and their Italian colleagues. The exhibition explores the transformation of the aesthetics of the poor into elite art: how artists and designers turn simple things through cheap materials and handy tools into extremely aesthetic ones.
The exhibition is on view from 26.03.21 – 30.05.21 in Heritage gallery, Moscow.
